Rachael Reynolds School of Dance

We would like to officially welcome you to Rachael Reynolds School of Dance! Our promise to you is to teach you or your child in a safe and fun environment. We endeavour to improve our student's dance skills and welcome everyone into a class where they can feel comfortable, confident and 100% authentically themselves. We treat every student as an individual, helping them reach their full potential and personal goals in dance. Please find and agree to our terms and conditions and behaviour policy below.

Terms and Conditions

  • Fees must be paid in full by the due date stated when you register (on the first of each month by direct debit) We cannot reserve your place if fees are not paid on time.
  • There will be no concessions or deductions for classes not attended.
  • Regular attendance is important for the benefit of you/your child and the rest of the group. Please inform us in advance if you/your child won't be attending the class week to week.
  • Please inform us if someone other than your child's parent/carer is collecting them at the end of their class.
  • All uniform should be clearly named. We accept no responsibility for lost clothing or personal belongings brought to class. 
  • Dance appropriate clothing must be worn during all classes. Inappropriate clothing includes the following: School uniform, Socks without shoes, Footwear other than trainers or specialised dance shoes.
  • We provide tap water as required but encourage our students to bring their own bottled water to their classes. Our students can also bring a snack if they will be taking part in multiple classes or to be eaten after their class however we do support a strict NO NUTS policy so please ensure all snacks comply with this.
  • You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing/calling us at: alison@rachaelreynoldsdance.com / 07878161246
  • You must declare if you do not want yourself/your child to be photographed for marketing and social media use, and keep us up-to-date should this change using the above email address or phone number. Please note: if you do not give consent you/your child may still be included in social media posts but faces will be blurred to be unrecognisable or the backs of heads shown. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this further.
  • We don't allow parents/carers to stay and watch any of our classes (apart from a free trial). This is to ensure that there are no distractions for our students and we can focus solely on learning and rehearsing. We will however regularly invite you to come and watch your child's progress throughout the year at organised 'watching weeks' and shows.
  • We require 4 weeks notice if your child wishes to leave Rachael Reynolds School of Dance.


Behaviour Policy

  • Rachael Reynolds School of Dance prides itself on being an all-inclusive, happy learning environment with enjoyment and education being at the root of all our classes. This policy exists to maintain this environment and enable students to reach their full potential.
  • All our students are the responsibility of their parents/carers before and after their individual class times. We ask you to refrain from early drop offs and late pick-ups and reiterate that in these circumstances we are not responsible for the well-being of your child.
  • Behaviour in unsupervised areas, eg waiting areas and toilets, must be acceptable and in line with our behaviour policy.
  • We ask our students to understand that they represent the school and it's behaviour policy at all times when wearing uniform in and out of class.
  • Students are expected to arrive promptly for the start of class.
  • Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated; Rachael Reynolds School of Dance reserve the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.
  • We support a strict 'anti-bullying' environment. Any student displaying bullying behaviour towards other students will be asked to leave.
  • We would ask that parents enforce the above rules to ensure that the highest standards are maintained and that we have an enjoyable environment for all.
